Terms of Service — 短.在线
Version: v0.2-beta
Last updated: 2026-09-16
Language: English is controlling. A Simplified Chinese courtesy translation is available; in case of conflict, English prevails.
These Terms are provided for the Beta Service. Contracting party: Arasaka Oy (Finland). Governing law and venue: Finland.
1. Parties and acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Arasaka Oy (“we,” “us,” or “短.在线”) governing access to and use of the 短.在线 service at 短.在线 and related domains and applications (the “Service”).
By creating a short link (including anonymously), creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”), which is incorporated by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Operator details: Arasaka Oy (limited company / osakeyhtiö), Business ID 2138210-8, registered office Santaradantie 7 F 203, 01370 Vantaa, Finland.
2. Description of the Service
短.在线 is a bilingual (中文 / English) smart-link, QR, and analytics SaaS. Depending on your plan, features may include creating short links and QR codes, optional custom aliases or domains, campaign-oriented analytics, and related APIs.
Redirects are delivered through our abuse-monitored redirect infrastructure. We do not insert interstitial advertising on redirect hops. We do not offer “防红” (anti-block / censorship-evasion) as a product feature.
We do not promise:
- Mainland China ICP / 备案 hosting or China Network acceleration.
- That any destination URL is safe, lawful, or endorsed by us.
- That abuse monitoring will detect every harmful link.
Creator analytics (typical Free UI): coarse country, device class, referrer host, and whether traffic used a QR-tagged URL (typically encoding ?s=qr) versus an ordinary short-link URL (plain copy stays untagged). Analytics report QR-tagged URL traffic vs ordinary short-link traffic — i.e. which URL variant was requested — and do not prove that a physical camera scan occurred. The creator UI does not display raw IP addresses or street-level location.
Public analytics cards: available only if you opt in; they show aggregate counts only. Do not put emails, real names, or other personal data in titles or aliases on public cards. You are responsible for content you publish on cards.
3. Anonymous use and accounts
3.1 Anonymous (signed-out) use
You may create a limited number of short links without an account, subject to the AUP and our adaptive abuse and capacity controls. We may rate-limit, require verification (such as a CAPTCHA), refuse creates, or reduce anonymous capacity when risk or abuse indicators warrant it. Soft prompts to register may appear so you can keep history and manage links later; registration is encouraged, not a hard wall after the first link.
Anonymous links may be harder to recover or manage; we may refuse or expire anonymous capacity at our discretion for safety.
3.2 Accounts
Account features (history, higher limits, billing, custom domains, API keys, and similar) require registration with accurate information and a secure credential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
Plan entitlements and create limits, when offered, are described in-product or at purchase. All creates remain subject to the AUP and risk controls.
Eligibility: you must have capacity to enter a binding contract under applicable law. For account features that process personal data, you must meet the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (in the EEA/UK this is typically 16, unless a Member State sets a lower age not below 13 and we have explicitly enabled that configuration). Where local law requires a higher age to form a contract (often 18), that higher age applies. Do not use the Service if prohibited by applicable sanctions or export rules. Anonymous signed-out creates remain subject to the AUP and may be limited or refused; they are not an invitation for children to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use (incorporation)
You must comply with the AUP. We may rate-limit, scan destinations, quarantine links, suspend or terminate accounts or anonymous capacity, and remove or disable short links that violate the AUP or these Terms. Decisions may be automated in part and reviewed operationally; see the AUP for reporting and appeals.
5. Your content and destinations
You (not 短.在线) are solely responsible for:
- Destination URLs and any content reachable through them.
- Titles, aliases, QR artwork metadata, and public analytics card text.
- Ensuring you have rights to shorten and distribute the destinations and that they comply with law and the AUP.
We do not endorse destinations. Shortening a URL does not make us the publisher of the destination. We may act on notices of unlawful or abusive destinations as described in the AUP.
Personal data warning: do not place personal data (emails, names, phone numbers, precise identifiers) in public titles, aliases, or card copy.
6. Plans, billing, and Stripe
Paid plans (when offered) are billed via Stripe (or a successor processor we disclose). Prices, quotas, and features are described at purchase time. Taxes may apply. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase:
- Fees are generally non-refundable for unused periods after a billing cycle starts.
- Non-payment may result in suspension of paid features.
A data processing agreement (DPA) for business customers on paid plans will be made available when offered. Until then, these Terms and the Privacy Policy describe how we process data for the Service.
7. Custom domains
If you attach a custom domain, you must control DNS, comply with our technical requirements (including TLS), and ensure the domain does not infringe others’ rights. You remain responsible for content and destinations served under your domain. We may suspend custom-domain routing for abuse, security, or non-payment.
8. API
API access (when enabled) requires keys you must keep confidential. Use is subject to documented rate limits, the AUP, and these Terms. We may revoke keys for abuse, security risk, or plan limits. Do not use the API to circumvent capacity controls, scanning, or safety measures.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, THAT DESTINATIONS ARE SAFE, OR THAT ABUSE DETECTION WILL CATCH EVERY HARMFUL LINK.
We do not sell identifiable clickstreams. Aggregate, non-identifying benchmarks may be used as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability and indemnity
Limitation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arasaka Oy and its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from the Service or destinations third parties host. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us for the Service in that period or (b) USD 50 (or local equivalent), except where liability cannot be limited (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other non-waivable rights).
Indemnity. You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your destinations, your content (including public cards), your breach of these Terms or the AUP, or your violation of law—except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights in your place of residence.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access (including individual short links, anonymous capacity, or accounts) for AUP violations, legal risk, unpaid fees, prolonged inactivity, or to protect the Service, users, or the public. You may stop using the Service at any time; account closure instructions will be provided in-product when available. Provisions that by nature should survive (including §§5, 9–12, and accrued payment obligations) survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections of your habitual residence may still apply.
Disputes: please contact us first at the notice address below to seek an informal resolution. If unresolved, exclusive venue for courts (or arbitration if later specified for your region) is Finland, subject to mandatory local consumer forum rights.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g. in-product or email to account holders) before they take effect, except where required sooner for legal or safety reasons. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, unless applicable law requires a different mechanism.
